This guide provides instructions and information about Stanford Web Services Jumpstart platform, based on Drupal 7.

Add Documents

Site owners and editors have permission to add documents to Pages.

Note: Stanford Sites Jumpstart sites come with up to 100 MB of file storage.  If you need more, you can submit a request to Stanford Web Services.

  1. Go the page where you want to upload the document and click the Edit tab.
  2. In the File Insert section, click Choose File to select the file you want to upload.
  3. After selecting the file, click Open.
  4. Click Upload.
  5. Choose a Style option of Link to file (with icon) or Link to file.
  6. The Description field is the file label that is displayed when the file is inserted in the content.
  7. Click the Display checkbox to have the file name displayed at the bottom of the page (optional).
  8. Place your cursor in the WYSIWYG editor precisely where you want the file to be placed.
  9. Click Insert.
  10. Click the Save button at the bottom of the page.
