Your text has options: it can go to the next line, or skip ahead to make a new paragraph.
Like MS Word, use a hard return (Enter or Return) to close a paragraph.
To force text to a new line, but not make a new paragraph, press Shift + Enter or Return.
(e.g., It will look like this.)
To make a prominent division on a page, you can use a horizonal rule. This style is the best way to organize a list of things like people, events, or announcements.
