Add and format lists

There are two list types available, bulleted lists and numbered lists List icons, the icons for which will be familiar for many users of MS Word.  If your content is best expressed as a list of things, using the list functionality of the WYSIWYG will help your page in terms of clarity, and score well in terms of search engine results — much better than using carriage returns and the spacebar.

Creating a list

There's a couple ways to create a list.

  1. You can either select the list icon first and create content in lists or;
  2. Select the content that you want to convert into a list and then click the list icon.

List examples

  • bulleted list item
    • create a sub-listing by using the Increase Indent button Indent icon
      • using the Tab key won't work, you have to increase indent using the WYSIWYG editor

Reasons to like lists

  1. They keep things neat and easy to read.
  2. Numbered lists are autonumbered, which makes it easy to maintain and change later.
  3. Numbered lists can be indented too.
