Change the Title of a Block

Site owners and editors have permission to change block titles.

A block has both a title and label field. The title is the text that is displayed on the page. The label is the text that identifies the block when administering the site.

  1. Navigate to a page where the block you wish to edit is placed.
  2. Hover over the upper right-hand side of the block.
  3. Click on the gear widget gear icon.
  4. Click Edit block.
  5. On the Edit Block page, leave the Label field as it is. This is only displayed in the admin interface.
  6. Go to the Title field.
  7. In the Title field change the text to what you'd like to appear.
  8. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.
